DAMet Services Ltd. is an independent private company created to focus on the supply of specialty blast services and materials for the unique situations and to assist smaller customer operations both inside and outside the Canadian explosive industry.  Drawing on over 25 years of experience from working with a major Western Canada supplier of explosive materials, our policy is to provide the supply, service and support that goes hand in hand with the application of specialty products to complete unusual projects or situations.

The principle of the company has been asked many times to assist with solving some unusual situations. The customer typically has found that trying to resolve a unique problem using a standard operating practice or a familiar method doesn’t fit the requirement of a particular job. The situation has proven to be either extremely time consuming, physically impractical, or just too dangerous to be able to move forward with the project.

Having a problem looked at from a completely different direction can sometimes produce unexpected solutions. With having been exposure to many different situations, commonly as a last resort, and using an extensive network of suppliers and outside expertise, finding those specialized solutions creates some unique challenges. Combine this with a detailed understanding of the requirements and rules relating to importing, storing, transporting, and using explosives in Canada, some rather unusual solutions have been created over the years.
